The Driver delivers vehicles and in some instances, customers, employees or vendors safely and timely to the appropriate destination s while giving helpful, courteous and professional customer service.

The Part Time Driver is responsible for the transporting of fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations, as well as navigating written directions.

Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed, following all rules of the road

Deliver customers and vehicles to appropriate destination in a safe and courteous manner

Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicle s or pick up multiple vehicles

Organize travel route and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely

May need to communicate via 2-way radio or cellular phone

May be asked to clean vehicles

Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Ever since I was a kid, I ve always wanted to see someone make a game about movies that had cars as stars. Driver: San Francisco is as close as anyone has come. Aside from the main story are 13 movie challenges inspired by movies like The Dukes of Hazzard, Bulitt, and even The Blues Brothers. There is also a secret Back to the Future reference that leads to something from the first Driver game, but I ll let you find that one. Driver: SF also features the idea of Shifting from car to car, and believe me, there are a LOT of cars to pick from. Muscle cars tend to drift, AWD cars accelerate instantly, and hatchbacks can barely move. My only gripe about the cars is that you can t pick the color you want, you have to keep going back into the garage and hope the color you want shows up next. Now the single player is fun, but multiplayer is where the game falls flat. You re given the city of San Francisco to play in and yet there is NO ONLINE FREE ROAM MODE And don t say it s not possible, you and the guy next to you can play localy over splitscreen in a free roam mode. This game had the potential to be my favorite game, but comes in about the top ten. This is a good game, just not online.

i am a first time driver player. i would say the game is really good. like all others games its get really boring that you will end up trading in which i did. cars are really good, and needs a little bit more good graphics.

At first when I got this for christmas, I thought I wouldn t like it THAT much since it s not a game I usually play NFS, Burnout, TDU2 etc. Anyway, when I started I kept going off course from the freeway where I was supposed to go Start of game, then I thought I was going to be driving a challenger rt the whole game, when I saw a challenger srt8 I was crossing my fingers for someplace to get a car. Well the garage answered my question in a big way. There s lots of cars to choose from, Even those 200mph exotics. But it s sort of weird when I m at about 130, because I m feeling like I m going so fast. Now the split screen is pretty good when I have my friend over. Even though he s not very good He dosen t own a PS3 yet. Online is very good as well, you re able to choose several challenges such as Takedown, your either a cop or robber and it s pretty obvious to know what to do. I can t remember all of it, I haven t played it in a while. Well I don t have much left to say. _ -Teh street rac0r

The pre release buzz for this game has all but evaporated. Fuzzy street dates, average looking graphics, game play that offers nothing new, and the one intriguing feature added to this game now has a high fantasy line of cheese Chester the cheetos cheetah would envy.

I m referring to the Shift feature that lets you phase from one car to another due to the fact that our hero Tanner is spoiler alert already in a coma which yanks the players chain by saying Ha Ha. you ve been playing one big long dream sequence. I was stun the developers let that cat out the bag too.Had they left that for some big twist at the end I could understand. some things are better left unsaid.

Listen Ubisoft If you really want to wipe the taste of Driv3r out of peoples mouth and apologize for Parallel Lines being such a flop get back to what made Driver the game so fun and Grand Theft Auto want to copy Down to earth street driving with big jumps, movie making, limited gun play, and a really good story line that didn t sound like it was written by a 4 year old.

If you can t do that then keep Tanner in a comma and wake me when your done.

I have only played this game a little bit but I was disappointed. I played Driver on the PC so many years ago and enjoyed it to no end. I never got my hands on Driver 2 but did however get Driver 3 and I loved it too. The ability to get out of the car, shoot up some people, flee the crime scene, and do it again just never got old. But now the character has the Shift power I believe it was called. Just let me drive my own car. I do however like that there are REAL vehicles being used such as the police s Cadillac Escalade which I found quite interesting. And the graphics obviously were an upgrade. So before you leave dislikes or angry comments, just remember I have NOT played the full game. I may pick the full game up and thoroughly enjoy it, but until then I will be somewhat disappointed.

The last Driver game i played was about 10 years ago which was Driver 3 so I saw a lot of improvement t with this game. Only thing I didn t like about it is that you can t get out of your car and walk around, BUT you can be the driver in any car. It s all a DREAM though. The character you play has powers and he can t change to any driver in a car by floating in the air and selecting the driver. It s fun and easy. There s other powers too. You can get money very easily and buy any car in any of the many garages. you can just free drive and just speed, drift, and overtake vehicles simply for money. It s a fun game, but some parts are challenging and when you beat the game you unlock some cool challenges.

ok when i got this game i was excited about the new shift feature. im not going to lie i love the cars and i was really in love with the game for the first three hours, the next three hours were lame because i knew that i was more than 65 complete of the story line. if you skip the cutsceens the story is complete within 5 hrs, i thought this was lame. for people to say that this is compareable to burnout: paradise and gta 4 is a complete lie, this game i nowhere compareable to the two games.. yes granted it would probably be difficult to someone knew to driving games but if you have played the gta series and the other driver series its way too easy DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I have been playing this game since Ubisoft was Reflections Interactive when the first Driver was made has been making this great but sometimes disappointing franchise. The Nastalga is stil very much there driving that old black Chevelle look alike down the streets of Chicago and I know everyone who is a fan remembers jumping the rising bridges to see who could get the most air. I ve had every single series and had some great but frustrating times. I can t wait for this one to release and start the whole rival with GTA again. If your a true fan of the Driver series as I am as well as GTA you ll see how they poke fun of one another though the game.

I ve been a fan of DRIVER since the 1st game was released back in 90 s for the PS1. And i happy that Driver was not dead. Best part what i liked about is that it was going back to SF. At first i didn t like the Idea of Ubisoft of being in charge of the project. Even though Reflections Interactive was still part of it. But that really change anything. But after seeing it at E3, i gave a chance. And i was not dissapointed. The driving was really smoothed and reallyfun. Especially the drifting. Seeing Tanner and Jericho up to no good again, got me cheering like a little camper. What i liked about SF was the ability to jump into any car was unique.

This game knocked the socks off of my expectations. They gameplay is very addicting, because it plays like no other racing game. You play as a cop who is trying to capture a very genius escaped convict. Circumstances lead the cop into some grave danger and out of it comes the incredible part of Driver: San Francisco. This game is the only game that I am aware of that allow the player to teleport from vehicle to vehicle. I played Vin Diesel s Wheelman which sort of did it but only on a small scale. This game will let you go from a vehicle on one side of town to another on the complete other side in mere seconds.

Actually driving the cars is a whole other topic. This games handling mechanics are challenging. That is coming from someone who grew up playing racing games. These cars are not easy to handle but in a good way. Its nice to know you cannot take turns at 150 mph like in some games. It feels more realistic. Also, there is a damage allowance meter that allows a certain amount of damage before a car crashes out. Normally, I would find it annoying, but you can teleport immediately into a nearby vehicle. So it is not a big deal.

This brings me to the vehicles. There is a plethora of vehicles in this game available for unlocking. By buying garages, you can then unlock vehicles. Vehicles range from the cop s classic Dodge Challenger to big rigs to Lamborghinis to minivans to school buses. There are well over 100 vehicles in total.

The map is huge and unlocks as you progress through the story. I have no idea if it actually looks like San Francisco, because I have never been there. It includes highways, iconic hills, alleyways, and dirt roads. There are challenges or as they call them in the game Dares scattered all over the map as well as other game modes, one of which is helping two brothers raise money for college by illegal street racing. They were funny and amusing. You can also chase criminals as cops or escape the cops as criminals. I cannot emphasize enough how much there is in this game.

The story itself and its characters are put together fairly well. I never lost interest in the story and was always interested. It was a little corny at times, but it felt like it was supposed to be and actually made the game better in my opinion. The story is no Uncharted or Last of Us, but is solid through and through.

The sounds of the game are where this game truly shines. The cars all have unique engine sounds. The sounds of burning rubber never get old and there is also a soundtrack that brings back a retro feel in which the game aimed to do. When you teleport into a car or truck, sometimes there would realistically be someone else in the car. Ubisoft made sure to account for this and I praise them for how thorough they were in driver conversations. When you teleport into a vehicle you may also find yourself jumping into a conversation. They range greatly from humorous things to concerning things. They amused me a lot, because I went through the entire story and at a very leisurely pace and even after I was finished with it, I was still hearing new things come out of my passenger s mouths. It is very impressive considering many games give characters one line and they will just repeat it over and over and over. This game made sure to avoid that.

The online part of this game was the only let down for me, solely because people are hard to come by. The modes are fun and some are similar to those in the solo part of the game. Once you find people to play with it becomes a blast to play. I do recommend trying to find at least two other people though. Online is not as much fun with only two people. Most racing games aren t. I hope I informed you on how impressive this game is. It is still 25 used for a reason. It is a true gem, especially in a starving racing genre.
